I am dedicated to helping individuals of all ages overcome communication challenges and achieve their full potential. My mission is to provide personalized, accessible and evidence-based therapy that empowers my clients to improve their speech, language, and communication skills.
About Me
Hi there! I'm Naomi Ignatius.
I graduated from UCL with an MSc in Speech and Language Sciences in 2017. I possess a wide breadth of experience across many clinical areas both paediatric (including early years, mainstream and special primary schools and ASD) and adult (including stroke, critical care, neurosurgery and major trauma).
I am a co-owner and Director of Sowing & Growing Nursery and Preschool where I provide consultancy and training surrounding the development and support of children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs. I am a certified Elklan Tutor and Hanen SLT. I am registered with the HCPC, and I am a member of the RCSLT and ASLTIP.
I have worked with the RCSLT and was a member of the Chief Allied Health Professions Officer’s BAME Strategic Advisory Board in order to combat Racism and EDI issues within SLT workplaces.
Most importantly, I am a mother of a child with complex needs and disability, therefore have a unique understanding as both a clinician and a special needs mum which helps me to empathize with my families and work out collaboratively with them what matters most at any given time.

Hanen More Than Words Programme TM
The More Than Words (TM) course is a group parent coaching program for parents of children up to the age of 6 years old who are either diagnosed with Autism, or would benefit from support with their early social communication skills. It is highly evidenced based and one of the gold standards in Speech Therapy as it provides parents with the tools they need to help their children to communicate. This course is run by myself and my colleague Iman Omar, who is a Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist with extensive experience in the field of Autism.
